It started when Alfie Wragge was a teenager. His dad kept a pressure washer in the garage, and one weekend he let Alfie have a go at the driveway. He ended up cleaning the front path and the patio too, and was surprised how much better the whole place looked by the time he finished.
A neighbour saw it and asked if he’d do theirs. Then someone down the road wanted their paths cleaned before summer. The jobs kept coming through word of mouth, and for a couple of years it stayed weekend work around school. In 2024 Alfie made it official and started AW Pressure Washing.
He’s still the one who turns up and does the work. The business is fully insured and run properly these days, but the way he works hasn’t changed since that first driveway. Most of our customers still find us through a recommendation from someone nearby.
