Do you pressure wash synthetic grass and acrylic courts?
No. Synthetic grass and acrylic courts are soft washed. A cleaning solution is applied to kill moss and algae, then rinsed at low pressure, so the turf fibres, sand infill, seams and acrylic coating are not damaged. Controlled pressure is only used on suitable surfaces like plain concrete and asphalt.
How often should a tennis court be cleaned?
Most courts benefit from a professional clean once or twice a year. Shaded courts, courts under trees and heavily used club or school courts often need it more often, especially after a wet season. Visible green or black growth, or a slippery surface, is the sign it is due.
Will cleaning make my court less slippery?
Yes. Slipperiness on a court usually comes from algae, moss and organic film, especially in shaded or damp areas. Removing that growth restores grip and makes the court safer to play on.
How long until we can play after cleaning?
Usually once the surface has dried, often the same or next day depending on the weather and how shaded the court is. We will give you a clear time for your court when we finish.
Do you clean club, school, council and strata courts?
Yes. We clean single private courts and multi-court facilities for tennis clubs, schools, councils, strata complexes and sports centres. Work can be scheduled around bookings, school terms or competition days, and set up on a regular maintenance schedule.
Can cleaning fix faded lines or a worn surface?
Cleaning removes the grime and growth that make lines and colours look dull, so markings usually look much sharper afterwards. It does not repaint lines, resurface or repair cracks. If your court needs that, we will tell you honestly.
Do you clean the areas around the court too?
Yes. Surrounding paths, seating, fence lines, gates and viewing areas can be included in the same visit, so the whole court area is done at once.
Can you work outside business or trading hours?
Yes. For shopfronts, offices, strata and car parks we regularly work early mornings, evenings or weekends so cleaning doesn’t disrupt staff, tenants or customers. Tell us your preferred window when you enquire.
