Path Cleaning
Garden paths and walkways cleared of mould, moss and slip hazards.

How does path cleaning work?
Garden paths and walkways are usually the shadiest, dampest part of a property, which makes them the first place mould and moss take hold. We clear paths back to their original surface, removing the slip hazard along with the grime.
Concrete, brick, sandstone and stepping-stone paths are all treated with the method suited to that surface, so nothing gets damaged in the process.
A clean, moss-free path is a genuine safety win as well as a street-appeal one.

FAQ
Path Cleaning, your questions answered
Can you remove the black slippery build-up on my path?
That black, slippery layer is algae and lichen, a common trip hazard on shaded Sydney paths. We clean it right back to the bare surface so the path grips underfoot again, not just looks cleaner.
Do you clean the whole path evenly or just in patches?
The whole path, edge to edge, with a flat surface cleaner that gives a consistent finish rather than the stripey, patchy look you get from a handheld wand.
How often should I have this done?
For most Sydney homes, every 12–18 months keeps mould and grime from taking hold, sooner for properties near the coast, under trees, or in damp, shaded spots. On an AW+ plan we track the timing for you so it never gets forgotten.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can access the areas being cleaned and an outdoor tap, plenty of our residential jobs are done while you're out, we confirm everything beforehand and send photos when it's finished.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, AW Pressure Washing is fully insured, and we're owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the person responsible for the result.
Is the quote really free and fixed?
Yes. Quotes are free and fixed, you'll know the price before we start, with no hourly meter and no surprises on the invoice. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need.
Pressure washing or soft washing: which will you use?
Whichever the surface needs. Hard surfaces like concrete driveways take high pressure; render, roofs, timber and painted surfaces get a low-pressure soft wash. We are trained in both and always match the method to the material.
